Biography
From the Concert Stage to the Courtroom
Dustin D. Peterson's path to law is anything but ordinary — and that is precisely what sets him apart. Before becoming an attorney, Dustin trained and performed as a professional operatic tenor, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Music from the University of Kansas. The discipline, precision, and ability to communicate under pressure that opera demands never left him; today, they inform everything he does in the courtroom.
A personal family tragedy brought Dustin back to the Midwest and placed him face-to-face with the very kind of legal challenges he now helps others navigate. That experience lit a fire. He enrolled at Oklahoma City University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor, and dedicated himself to becoming the kind of attorney he wished his own family had access to — one who combines genuine legal skill with deep human understanding.
Since 2021, Attorney Peterson has built Peterson Law Center around a single conviction: that Oklahoma families deserve strong, diligent, and compassionate representation when life's hardest moments require a lawyer. Whether a client is facing a contentious divorce, fighting for custody of their children, defending against a DHS investigation, or planning their estate, Dustin approaches every matter with the same thoroughness and care.
Away from the office, Dustin is a devoted family man. He loves traveling with his wife and their son, and the family is joyfully expecting a second son in April 2026. This personal investment in family is not incidental to his legal practice — it is the heart of it.
